About your responsibilities.
As a large equipment mechanic, you will work independently on servicing and repairs of shovels, cranes and pontoons, among others. You assess whether parts need to be repaired or replaced and advises the team leader accordingly.
Additionally, you mentor colleagues in training and share your technical knowledge where needed. You ensure that maintenance records are kept accurate and up to date. You also participate in meetings on safety, health, and the environment. You work day shifts but are flexible to step in when the job requires it.
Occasionally you will work on location, for example at the customer's premises or on a pontoon, sometimes abroad. Together with your colleagues, you keep the workshop clean and orderly.

What you bring.
- At least a lower secondary vocational diploma (LBO/VMBO) in Motor Technology with sufficient experience
- You work independently, are customer-oriented, knowledgeable, and take pride in quality
- You are motivated and friendly
- You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one
- Additional certifications (forklift, aerial work platform) are a plus
- Possession of a valid driver’s license B
- You speak and understand Dutch
