Barite is a heavy mineral used, among other things, as drilling fluid in the offshore industry. On behalf of a client from IJmuiden, Abeko carried out the unloading operations at its own quay in Beverwijk.
The cargo was carefully unloaded and temporarily stored using shovels, excavators, and handling equipment. Thanks to our experience with this type of bulk material and the efforts of an efficient team, the work was completed smoothly, safely, and with minimal disturbance to the surroundings.
