Installation of two pipelines for desalination plant – Abeko Server 1
In 2024/2025, Abeko supported trenching for two underground pipelines for a desalination plant in Fouka, Algeria. The work took place in hard soil conditions, where powerful and reliable equipment was essential.
For this project, Abeko Server 1 was deployed — our fully equipped work unit with a 250-ton excavator and a digging depth of up to 24.5 meters. Thanks to its stability and strength, Server 1 was ideally suited for loosening and excavating hard layers, with minimal disturbance to the surrounding terrain.
The work was carried out in close cooperation with local contractors and according to a tight schedule, aligned with the broader development of the region’s water infrastructure.
